Why the new Mustang is limited to 112MPH

I was impressed with the new 2011 V6 Mustangs. They could hang with tactical car up to 110mph, unless they had to turn. Well, some one took the limiter off their new Mustang and, at 135MPH, the drive shaft fell out.
