KTM 1190 Adventure R

KTM doesn't leave riders who seek a more enduro bike out in the cold. The R variant offers 21" front and 18" rear spoked tubeless wheels, up from 19"/17" on the standard model. The larger wheels on the R model might be enough to keep folks like me who are under 6' from being able to mount the bike easily, but its nice to see the company catering to multiple riding styles and needs with one platform.

KTM 1190 Adventre

The 1190 Adventre replaces KTM's 950/990 with a more versatile bike, one with much of the electronic controls that were lacking, but found on competitor's bikes. The 1190 is also more streetable as a result, and only weighing about 470 pounds, making it much lighter than the BMW GS it places in its sights. If the price is right, I might be keen on one down the road.
